Welcome to Wolfsborg

For years my thinking lived in scattered places — half-finished notes, threads that scrolled away, drafts that never left the folder. This is my attempt to fix that: a single, permanent home on the open web where ideas can be written down properly and found again later.

This is the first post. Consider it a small manifesto.

Why a website, now?

Social platforms are wonderful for reach and terrible for permanence. Posts vanish into the feed; the algorithm decides what survives. A personal site flips that relationship. Here, the writing is the point — not the metrics beneath it.

The web rewards those who build a place of their own. Everything else is rented land.

So this is owned land. Slow, deliberate, mine.

What you’ll find here

I write about three things, mostly:

• Technology and building — what I’m making and what I learn breaking it.
• Ideas and thinking — mental models for deciding well under uncertainty.
• The craft — the discipline of doing careful work, in public.

Some posts will be long essays. Others will be short notes barely longer than this paragraph. Both are welcome.
